Overview
From the outset, Acticare had a strong idea of what they wanted. The design needed to be simple, bold, and unmistakably on-brand, built around their new visual identity and a striking raspberry tone (Pantone 241). At the heart of it all was a key message—“Raise Standards, Consume Less”—which would feature heavily across their wider marketing campaign.
Functionality was just as important. Within a 7m x 4m space, the stand needed to accommodate meeting areas, storage, AV displays, and product showcasing—all while remaining open and inviting across three sides.
The Stand Design & Build
Early design thinking focused on how to bring the new brand to life without overcomplicating the space. With three open sides, visibility from multiple angles was essential, so the layout needed to feel accessible while still delivering visual impact.
One idea quickly stood out—the use of a light-up droplet feature. Inspired by Acticare’s campaign visuals, this became the focal point of the stand, helping to anchor the messaging and create a memorable element that visitors could immediately connect with.
From there, the design evolved around balance: keeping the structure clean and uncluttered, while making sure every element had a purpose. Rather than overcrowding the space, we focused on doing a few things really well.
The finished stand delivered a modular, open design that combined strong branding with practical usability.
The illuminated droplet feature took centre stage, drawing attention and reinforcing the campaign message from across the hall. Bold graphics and clear logo placement ensured Acticare’s new identity was instantly recognisable, even at a distance.
Two integrated TV screens helped communicate what the company does, while a dedicated seating area provided a comfortable space for conversations. Behind the scenes, discreet storage and raised flooring kept the stand functional without compromising the clean aesthetic.
The result was a space that felt both welcoming and purposeful—designed not just to attract visitors, but to support meaningful engagement.

What Acticare Wanted to Achieve
Acticare’s objectives for the show included:
- Launching their new brand identity with impact
- Creating a bold and memorable presence on the show floor
- Showcasing their sustainability-focused messaging
- Providing a functional space for meetings and product discussions
- Delivering all of the above within a defined budget
The stand played a key role in successfully introducing Acticare’s new brand at the show. The combination of bold visuals and a clear message helped them stand out in a competitive environment, while the layout made it easy for visitors to step in, explore, and connect.
Importantly, the modular build also means the stand can be reused and adapted for future events—making it a smart long-term investment as well as a strong one-off presence.
Our Solution
We recommended a modular exhibition stand that focused on simplicity, clarity, and strong visual communication. The open-sided layout encouraged footfall, while the illuminated droplet feature acted as a central focal point—reinforcing the campaign message from a distance.
By combining branding, AV, and meeting space in a balanced layout, the stand delivered both engagement and practicality without exceeding budget constraints.
Result
The final stand successfully brought Acticare’s new brand to life at Care Show 2024. Its bold visuals and clear messaging helped attract visitors, while the layout supported effective engagement throughout the event.
Additionally, the modular build ensures the stand can be reused and adapted for future exhibitions, providing long-term value beyond a single show.
